Hit Miami like a local in this half marathon and 5k featuring the best beaches of Miami Beach, Florida. This race includes locals and runners from across the world who want to experience this fast and beautiful course. New racers can take advantage of the training offered to get ready for this run while more experienced runners can learn what it would take to make this their best time yet.
What would a Miami Beach event be without live music? Along the course and at the after-party, experience great sounds from enhanced DJ sets. Even the pacers are in on the game with speakers providing mobile music as you run.
Newly added in 2018 is a race within a race, the 400-meter speed challenge that appears at mile 3.05. This 305 Drive Ignited will track your time for this sprint to give you even more bragging rights. If you’re not a runner but would like to support a runner, stay tuned for where spectators can gather along the course for moral support.
The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. There are plenty of post-race activities, including massage and electrostimulation to provide you with the best possible recovery session. Stretch Zone experts will also be on hand for all your stretching needs. For races 21 and up with a valid ID, Eppa Suprafruta Sangria Bar and Michelob ULTRA will have beverages and entertainment available.
If you run for charitable reasons, know that 305 Half Marathon & 5K partner with charities in the area, including Southern NCSY and Team To End AIDS. Any charity with ten or more members is welcome to apply for a spot in this year’s 305 run.
Packet pick up starts Thursday, March 1, at Go Run Kendall from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On Friday and Saturday, packets are at iRun and Nike Miami, respectively, also from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. To pick your packet up on the day of the race, you can arrive at early as 5:00 am. The half marathon starts at 6:15 am with the 5K starting 15 minutes later.

The 305 races are part of the Perfect Storm Challenge, so if you’ve already competed during selected 2017 events, complete the half-marathon portion of this race to add another notch to your belt and become the master of Florida’s storms.
While registration for 2019 and 2020 hasn’t opened yet, be on the lookout for this information so you can complete your 305 collection of medals. This year, earn the “3” so you can put them all together by 2020.
