Podcast Episode 6: Nick Symmonds (2x Olympian & RunGum Founder)

Listen now.

Naivety and a hunger for respect drives a brash, stocky runner from Boise, Idaho with a Hollywood smile to 7 NCAA titles in the 800 and 1500 meters, and back-to-back Olympic games in Beijing and London.

On the podcast today, we are joined by Nick Symmonds – Olympian, Social Media supernova, and entrepreneur. Nick walks us through some of his racing memories, his thoughts on the suppression of athlete rights and the need to pay amateur athletes, and his journey with Run Gum – a company that he started with his coach, Sam Lapray – on how they’ve navigated the business through the treacherous waters of COVID.
