Podcast Episode 2: Frankie Ruiz (Miami Marathon)

Listen now!

How much of a difference can one person make on one of America’s largest, most diverse, and least healthy cities? Fueled by a passion for running, love for his home town of Miami, Florida, and a noticeable void in the U.S. Marathon market, Frankie Ruiz co-founded the Miami Marathon in 2003 leveraging family and friends, his emerging political connections, and his mantra of “Don’t stop”.

Join us as we talk with Frankie on the recent decision to take the 2021 edition of Miami Marathon virtual, leading one of the largest weekly run clubs in the country, and Frankie’s life as a professional bandit-catcher and local High School cross-country coach.
