2XU New York City Triathlon

July 1, 2018

The 2XU New York City Triathlon is one of the nation’s premier urban triathlons, with a course that wraps through some of the busiest streets in Manhattan. This epic race includes a 1.5k swim with the fast current in the Hudson River, a 40k ride up the traffic-free Hudson Parkway into the Bronx and back, followed by a 10k trek across 72nd St before conquering relentless hills and finishing in the heart of Central Park.

 

AJC Peachtree Road Race

July 4, 2018

The AJC Peachtree Road Race traditionally draws the best known elite runners from around the world to compete in Atlanta. This year there will again be a special focus on American distance runners as the Peachtree hosts the USATF 10km Championships. The male and female winner of the 2018 AJC Peachtree Road Race will not only earn a spot on the Peachtree Cup, but also the title of National Champion and a winner’s check for $10,000.

 

CenturyLink Silver Rush 50 MTB

July 7, 2018 

Need a nice challenge? Then forget this one. It’s nasty. Cut the Leadville Trail 100 MTB in half, remove all the easy parts, throw in technical descents, burning lungs and wild animals and you’ll have a good understanding of what you’re about to get into.

 

CenturyLink Silver Rush 50 Run

July 8, 2018

Take on 50 miles of extreme Leadville territory that starts at 10,200 feet and reaches 12,000 feet on four separate occasions at the Silver Rush 50 Run. It will leave your lungs burning, heart pounding and eyes completely amazed!

Pennsylvania Sprint and Super Weekend

Are you up for a course designed to challenge our elite Spartans? At the Pennsylvania Super and Sprint Weekend, you’ll come face-to-face with Pennsylvania’s BLUE MOUNTAIN, taking on steep slopes that intimidate you… long climbs that challenge you… and obstacles that threaten you. On Blue Mountain, you’ll run in and out of dense forest as you climb the mountain, facing obstacles designed to test the elites. If you’re strong and determined enough, you’ll be rewarded with amazing views from the top – and then your challenging descent begins.

 

LifeTime Tri Minneapolis

The Life Time Tri Minneapolis presented by Just BARE Chicken is Minnesota’s premier triathlon, featuring one of the most scenic urban courses in the United States. A swim in Lake Nokomis is followed by a flat but winding tour along the Mississippi River valley, then finishes with a fast, flat run around Lake Nokomis. Crazy 8s 8K, Almost Crazy 3K Run/Walk, Little8s/Special 8s

Named one of 25 Iconic American Road Races by Runner’s World! 29th Annual Event. World’s Fastest 8K! Late night race on unique figure-8 course on beautiful candle-lit streets. Rousing finish inside J. Fred Johnson Stadium. Also: Almost Crazy 3K Run/Walk. Do both the 3K and 8K and receive a Totally Crazy medal! Little 8s and Special 8s Youth Runs take place on the football field inside the stadium.

  1. For prospective participants to assess whether doing each of these is feasible, beside the race name the location should be indicated. If the start and finish are at the same place, that should be sufficient, but if it’s a longer point to point event than both may be appropriate.
