One Million Strong: Athlinks Reaches Million-Member Milestone

Athlinks, the world’s most robust endurance race results platform and social networking site, recently reached the million-member mark. The monumental popularity of the site follows on the heels of a 2017 rebranding in which Athlinks significantly enhanced the platform’s offerings and functionality.

“Our goal is to connect millions of people who train for and participate in events all around the world on a single, live, social platform,” says Athlinks founder Troy Busot. “We’re thrilled that one million individuals now share our vision and recognize the benefits of Athlinks as the platform for individuals to celebrate their race day achievements. And we’re just getting started.”

The Athlinks platform provides athletes a place to create personalized endurance race resumes, claiming their finishes from a database of 262,000,000 event results and counting. And while building a profile with personal race stats may be the best-known feature of Athlinks, the free membership platform offers far more. Athletes are able to discover new race challenges by viewing featured events and utilizing a variety of search filters. Events are showcased on dedicated landing pages, including direct links to registration, past results, and registered athlete rosters.

“Our goal is to connect millions of people who train for and participate in events all around the world on a single, live, social platform,” – Troy Busot, Athlinks Founder

Athlinks’ social features encourage connection among friends, and even friendly competition among rivals. Recommended friends and rivals appear in an athlete’s profile,  and alerts show their upcoming events and recent finishes. Athletes are able to post encouraging messages for others, add their own names and goal times to event start lists, create custom finisher certificates, and share their results, photos, and videos directly from Athlinks to Facebook.

The Athlinks mobile app allows access to membership and its myriad benefits anywhere, anytime. Recently added live athlete tracking and results, plus a social-media style event feed (planned for future release), will round out the full suite of Athlinks app functionality.

The Athlinks platform is designed to provide a single central resource for athletes to archive results, connect with others, share their experiences, and get fired up for future events. To learn more and join the million-member strong Athlinks community, free of charge, visit Athlinks.com.
