This week, we’d like to share some of our event registration pattern data from the last twelve months.
Here are the steps we took to get the data:
- Pulled all event registrations that were processed on the ChronoTrack Live platform for the last 12 months.
- Excluded any test or dummy registrations.
- Normalized the time of registration for each user’s location.
- Grouped each registration by the day of the week and the hour of the day.
Here’s the visualization that we created that shows registrations for each day of the week and each hour of the day. It’s an interactive chart, so feel free to play around with it and share with us any interesting insights that you discover in the comments section below!
Contrary to common belief, the most popular day of the week for registering is Monday, and the most popular time is from 10-11am.
This information may be useful to event directors as they think about optimizing sign-ups when launching their registration campaigns.
