Kimberly Mac Namee – Guest Blogger

Kimberly Mac Namee began coaching in 2006 and founded Strive Performance Coaching in 2008. Her coaching philosophy centers around identifying a training plan that works best for each athlete she works with by balancing training, racing, work, family and other demands. Athlete development is about the individual as a whole and encompasses more than just a physical component. On a personal level, Kimberly has a passion for endurance events because of the challenges we all face both physically and mentally during such events. Kimberly believe that endurance sports helps us to unlock our true potential in every aspect of our life because it teaches us discipline and perseverance. In addition to coaching and her own racing, Kimberly enjoys downhill skiing, water-skiing, and has recently started mountain biking (and hopes to add an Xterra race to her experience in the near future).
