Albert Lu – Guest Blogger

Albert Lu attended his first CrossFit class in October 2011. He has been on a fun ride since then. He had never run over 1 mile in his life prior to starting CrossFit, and now because of it, he has run numerous 5K’s, 10K’s, a couple of 11K’s (with body armor), half-marathons, and even a marathon! He has even completed the Spartan Race Trifecta because of the fitness level he has achieved through CrossFit. He has experience with some functional fitness competitions as well.

He drank the Kool-Aid (a lot of it) and started to learn more through reading, podcasts, and at clinics, seminars, and courses. He tests his abilities, beliefs, and assumptions every day to become a better athlete, coach, and human being to in turn, help others get better.

He coaches CrossFit group classes and is teaching the skill of running to others so that they can run longer, faster, and pain-free.
