Scott Stallings’ Top Training Essentials

As more professional golfers begin to publicly promote their dedication to off-course training and preparation, Scott Stallings, a NOBULL athlete, has discussed for years how off-course training has aided his journey to becoming the fittest golfer on the PGA TOUR.  Specific movements that have helped improve the PGA Tour player’s on-course game involve strengthening his rotator cuff, shoulder muscles, and working on arm speed/strength including:

  • Medicine ball slams
  • Landmine rotational press
  • Single-leg deadlifts
  • Kettlebell swings
  • Kettlebell snatches

A Massachusetts native, Scott’s training on and off the course have paid off as he continues to better his game year after year.  Stallings does not shy away from discussing his training saying “the sport of golf is unpredictable. One thing I remain in control of is my training. My preparation off the course means everything for my performance on the course. I’ve been able to hone in on key movements that amplify my golf game and keep me mentally and physically prepared.”
