Podcast Episode 25: Dani Shanahan of HOKA NAZ Elite on Falling Down, Getting Up, and running Olympic Standard

Confucius said, Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we do. Our guest today knows a think or two about falling and rising not only to the challenge, but to glory in the form of an Olympic standard time in the 10K.

On the Podcast today, Dani Shanahan of HOKA Northern Arizona Elites drops in to discuss her running career so far and her most recent meet in which she took a hard spill on the track, pulled herself back into the race, and smashed her Personal Best by a full minute.

It is hands-down my vote for Best Running Story of 2020 and I can’t wait for you all to hear about it.

Dani’s PBs:
1,500m – 4:16.36 (2018)
5,000m – 15:26.91 (2019)
10,000m – 31:22.86 (2020)
