ARIZONA SPRINT AND SUPER WEEKEND

February 9th – FORT MCDOWELL AZ

One of the more convoluted courses on the Spartan Race calendar, the trails and tracks never cease to twist, turn and keep you guessing as to which direction they will take you next. Nestled neatly in the northeast corner of Phoenix within the county of Maricopa, the reservation is a 40 square mile area, just a fraction of the ancestral territory of the once nomadic Yavapai people.

L.A. Chinatown Firecracker 5/10K, Kiddie Run & Bike Ride

February 17th – Los Angeles, CA

L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. (LACFRC) is a non-salaried group of volunteers who donate their time and energy to organize and stage events and programs; promoting health, fitness, and cultural awareness to the greater Los Angeles community. All proceeds are reinvested in the community, in support of elementary schools and non-profit organizations, providing service and programs that benefit local neighborhoods.

Lost Dutchman Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 8K

February 17th – Apache Junction, AZ

The Lost Dutchman Marathon and it’s associated races are a favorite of serious marathoners and casual runners alike. This event is held annually over President’s day weekend near the rumored site of the legendary Lost Dutchman Mine. Runners can depend on a beautiful location, excellent weather, great volunteers, and fast times.

JACKSONVILLE SUPER & SPRINT HOSTED BY VISIT JACKSONVILLE

February 23rd JACKSONVILLE FL

Florida’s #1 ranked motocross park meets the world’s #1 obstacle course race. Welcome to WW Ranch Motocross Park, a new venue on our 2019 schedule. Conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown Jacksonville and 30 minutes from JAX airport, this race location is perfect for locals and weekend travelers.

The course will be fast and flat, hopping from soft, sandy track section to open pastures. This is a perfect race for first-timers with the low elevation gain and a great speed test for our elite racers. Want to get two-thirds of your TRIFECTA done? Run the Super on Saturday and the Sprint Sunday and be well on your way to the TRIFECTA tribe.

  1. I’m surprised you don’t have the Daytona Beach 2/2 marathon on this list! The route follow International Speedway Blvd., (Home of the famed Daytona 500).) to the World’s most famous beach and back to One Daytona, across from the Speedway track for a great time of celebration!
