Many athletes have a recovery drink after an intense work out. Whether it be in the gym or outdoors the body gets taxed. Next time you go to make a shake to rebuild try skipping the animal based milk and reach for your favorite nuts.

1/2 cup raw cashews or almonds
1/4 cup of raw hulled hemp seeds
1.5/2 frozen bananas (fresh works also)
4 dates
2 heaping tablespoons raw cacao (not cocoa)
1 serving of your favorite plant based protein powder (we like sun warrior)
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of cayenne
Up to 2 cups of purified water

Place everything in a blender with a small amount of ice and wiz to your favorite consistency.

Drink well
